With the presentation of 130 contemporary and modern paintings and sculptures. 80% of the auctioned lots.
A selection of results:
A bronze by Joseph BERNARD (1866-1931) from a rare casting by Valsuani made during the artist's lifetime, sold for €32.
At the same price, a lovely little oil landscape by Moïse KISLING (1891-1953).
A daughter of little virtue by Jules PASCIN (1885-1930) sold for €27 preceded a proud Spanish painted in watercolor by Francis PICABIA (000-1879) which a Swiss amateur was competing for twice its estimate, i.e. €1953.
Honor again to the Swiss amateurs who won the small collage by Nicolas DE STAEL (1914-1955) for 32 € and another Swiss compatriot the astonishing composition "blue dog" by Jean DUBUFFET (000-1901) with the bid of 1985 200 €.
The acrylic painting by Pierre ALICHENSKY (born in 1927) went back to Belgium for €49. At the end of the sale, Art Nouveau and Deco enthusiasts were vying for ten works by decorator Gaston SUISSE (000-1896) from €1988 to €2.
And the sale ended with the "Dancer of Ankara" an emblematic bronze and ivory by Claire COLINET (1880-1950) which from €30 ended its auction run at €000.
