Egypt, Middle Kingdom, circa 1991-1783 BC. J.-C.
Standing with feet together and wearing a long loincloth with a flared front drape. The arms along the body with the marked musculature and the
closed hands had to hold instruments.
Her short ball-shaped wig with tight rows covers the ears leaving only the lobe visible.
The wig, the face, the pupils and the body are covered with a brown blanket, while the eyes and the loincloth are painted white.
Fine quality of execution rendered by the fine musculature of the arms and abdomen as well as by the elegance of the facial features.
Very good state of conservation.
