A Contemporary brooch in 15-carat gold, signed by German jeweler K.K.-B., set with a Roman silver denarius coin. Denarius issued by Mr. Junius Brutus, in Rome in 54 BC. BC, with the bust of Liberty on the obverse, and the consul L. Junius Brutus walking on the left, surrounded by two lictors and a herald on the reverse (ref. Crawford 433/1). This is indeed the Brutus who assassinated Julius Caesar.
