La divinité est présentée entièrement nue si
ce n’est pour un drapé ceinturé à la taille et
flottant à l’arrière imitant le mouvement de
ses ailes déployées. La posture en mouvement est caractérisée par une anatomie très
juvénile, avec un léger «hanchement» du
haut du corps vers la droite.
Bronze à patine verte. Manque une aile et le

A Roman Bronze Figure of Cupid. The god is presented
entirely naked except for a drape belted at the waist and
floating at the back imitating the movement of his outstretched wings. The moving posture is characterized by
a very youthful anatomy, with a slight torsion of the upper
body to the right. Circa 1st-3rd century A.D.
