La divinité considérée comme le roi des dieux dans le panthéon égyptien est représentée dans l’attitude de la marche, la jambe gauche avancée. Le torse dénudé, il porte le pagne chendjit, la barbe postiche tressée et et la couronne amonienne composée d’une courte coiffe et de deux plumes d’autruches. Le détail de la couronne, du visage et du pagne sont finement incisés. Belle qualité d’exécution.

A Late Period Bronze Figure of Amun. The king of the egyptian gods is striding forth, on his proper left leg, wearing a short incised belted kilt, the false beard and the typical crown his short headdress and two big ostrich feathers. The left arm bent and extending forward, both hands fisted for now-missing attributes. Beautiful quality of execution and patina. 664-332 B.C.
