Figurée debout, dans une robe talaire longue, les jambes jointes. Le bras gauche le long du corps, la paume de la main grande ouverte, tandis-que le bras droit replié vers l’avant, la main devait tenir un attribut aujourd’hui disparu (fruit ou fleur). Le visage est caractérisé par le canon archaïque, un oval arrondi, des yeux en amandes, et la bouche souriante. La chevelure est quant à elle formée de longues tresses tubulaires ramenées à l’arrière de la tête et retenue par un bandeau. Nenfro; H. 64 cm

An Etruscan Nenfro Statue of Kore. Shown standing, in a long dress, legs together. The left arm alongside the body, the palm of the hand wide open, while the right arm folded forward, the hand must have held an attribute that has now disappeared (fruit or flower). The face is characterized by the archaic canon, a rounded oval, almond-shaped eyes, and a smiling mouth. The hair is made up of long tubular braids brought to the back of the head and held in place by a headband.Circa 7th-6th century B.C
