Composé d’une calotte à paragnathides mobiles sans décor, d’un protège nez et d’un couvre nuque à rebord. La partie frontale est surmontée d’une découpe en relief et de son centre, par une arête centrale parcourant la calotte. Les paragnathides fixées par une charnière rivetée sont modelées en léger relief. Les casques chalcidiens étaient très populaires en Grèce continentale et Grande Grèce. Casque iconisé par les monnaies téménides datant de l’extrême fin du Ive siècle et du début du IIIe siècle av.J.-C.

A Chalcidian Bronze Helmet. Composed of a cap with mobile paragnathids without decoration, a nose guard and a neck cover with a rim. The front part is surmounted by a relief cut out and from its center, a central edge runs along the cap. The paragnathids fixed by a riveted hinge are modeled in light relief. Chalcidian helmets were very popular in mainland Greece and Magna Graecia. Helmet iconized by Temenid coins dating from the extreme end of the 4th century and the beginning of the
