An etrusco-corinthian alabastron. Attributed to the Michigan group. This ceramic
vessel of narrow type, rounded body at one end, a narrow neck and a wide open-mouth. No handles.This type of small size containers were intended
to contain perfumes, oils and ointments for a special occasions. Its
beige background contrasts with the dark figures of waterfowl, fished and
rosettes in five decorative registers.
