En verre transparent épais et solide de couleur vert olive. Le profil est
conique et régulier avec le fond arrondi. Ces bols en verre, considérés
comme des produits de luxe déjà dans l’Antiquitié, sont à comprendre
comme des imitations de nombreuses coupes à boire hellénistiques fabriquées
en métal précieux (argent surtout).
A late hellenistic conical glass bowl. 2nd-1st century B.C. Made of thick and
solid transparent glass in the color olive green. The profile is conical and
regular with a rounded bottom. These glass bowls, already considered
luxury items in Antiquity, are to be understood as imitations of many Hellenistic
drinking cups made of precious metal (especially silver).
